I thought it would be fun to start thinking about what we're going to be driving in the near future. We've owned or leased a station wagon, 2 vans, a 2 door and a 4 door, oh yes and a 5 door....can you tell I'm not really into describing makes and models?

We also owned a motor home C class and a tent trailer. That's getting off topic. We have never owned...get ready...a truck! I know we've never owned an elephant either but it's a very popular vehicle here in cowboy country. If everyone around you is driving a Goliath then it's scary being a David! A little bit of bible talk for those who like that kind of thing.
The Honda Ridgeline is so far our favorite, not too big and not to small we're going to have to worry about the Goliaths out there
stomping all over us.It can't be too big that I won't be able to park it in the hospital parkade.
So I'm off to pick up our Impala that we're driving to Victoria on Saturday. A big change from our little Aveo!

Now if I win the lottery this is what I really want! I'll take the cottage in the background too!
Ride the warm beams
the sun shines down upon us-
for moon beams are cold.

Our 2002 Toyota RAV4 is still in great shape (aside from the minor fender damage from a collision with a parking lot barrier pole).
ReplyDeleteI think it should last us for several more years (if we avoid more poles).
Our poor 2007 Outlander has undergone two fairly serious front end reconstructions in its brief life so far. I'm hoping it lasts us as long as our Toyota.
Now if I won the lotto, well, I'm thinking something in a hybrid would be nice! I'd love a silent car.
Oh yes, a silent car would be wonderful! I could listen to Steve talk on and on about the history channel...what's the loudest car out there?
